Bettina Tucci Bartsiotas ha ocupado altos cargos de liderazgo en diversas organizaciones internacionales. Fue Subsecretaria General/Contralora de las Naciones Unidas bajo la dirección de los Secretarios Generales Ban Ki Moon y Antonio Guterres. Recientemente, fue Directora del Instituto Interregional de las Naciones Unidas para Investigaciones sobre la Delincuencia y la Justicia (UNICRI) en Turín (Italia). Fue Subdirectora de Administración Financiera/Jefa de Presupuesto de UNICEF y Directora de Presupuesto y Finanzas del Organismo Internacional de Energía Atómica.
La Sra. Bartsiotas participa activamente en juntas y comités, como la Federación Internacional de la Cruz Roja y de la Media Luna Roja, el Fondo de Población de las Naciones Unidas (UNFPA), el Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA), la Universidad por la Paz, el UNICRI, el Fondo Internacional para los Medios de Comunicación de Interés Público (IFPIM) y la Cooperativa Federal de Crédito de las Naciones Unidas (UNFCU).
A lo largo de su carrera, ha mantenido un fuerte compromiso con el multilateralismo, la buena gobernanza, la equidad y la integridad.

Bettina Tucci Bartsiotas has held senior leadership positions in various international organizations. She was Assistant Secretary General/Controller in the United Nations under Secretaries General Ban Ki Moon and Antonio Guterres. Most recently she was Director of the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute – UNICRI, in Turin, Italy. She was Deputy Director of Financial Administration/Head of Budget at UNICEF, and Director of Budget and Finance at the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Ms. Bartsiotas is now active in boards and committees, including the International Federation of Red Cross/Red Crescent, UNFPA, World Food Programme, University for Peace, UNICRI, International Fund for Public Interest Media (IFPIM) and UN Federal Credit Union (UNFCU)
Throughout her career she has been committed to multilateralism, good governance, fairness and integrity.
